Starting Chacha Mamas was a huge daunting task for my husband and I. We knew what we wanted to do, but we didn’t now how. I found Staci in an article in the North County Times Newspaper. I was determined that Kenarie’s was not going to be an ordinary site. I sat in front of the computer for days, searching web designer after web designer, clicking links on numerous sites until my eyes crossed from staring at the screen. When I opened Quirky Bird, I stopped searching. I felt an immediate vibe and picked up the phone. From the very beginning, Staci was so helpful and I felt completely comfortable with her. I told her the ideas I had for my site and the story behind the ideas and she just got it. My decision was made. She got me started cropping and resizing images, loading product info and descriptions…tasks which were completely new to me. But the most comforting part was that she always answered the phone and all my silly “I can’t believe I’m asking this” questions. She explained the process, time frame and her services during our first telephone conversation and the process occurred exactly as she described.
Staci’s artwork was spot on from the first draft. She literally brought the images in my mind to the screen. Staci is an absolute Gem! I cannot thank her enough for what she has done for us and our business.
We came to meet Staci after we had been trying to get a website designed for more than a year but had been left ‘high and dry’ with nothing. We had two very bad experiences with other web designers in Australia and had lost quite a large sum of money with nothing to show for it.
Staci reassured us that she could help! – At first we where unsure considering that she was on the other side of the world! How could we trust someone in America when we had bad dealings We took a gamble on her lovely personality and it definitely paid off! Staci put us on the waiting list but immediately put in place a temp website to get us going while we where waiting.
Within weeks of starting our project we had a beautiful site functioning and customers returning to our store!
The best part about Staci’s service is the advice that goes with the design. Staci gave us great hints and tips on how to set up a website where customers have an easy time navigating there way through the shop without confusion and told us immediately if she felt that something we wanted wasn’t going to work, which we appreciated, and our shop is better off for it!
Staci also had the added work of the currency change and the postage differences in Australia. But of course it wasn’t a problem she just said ‘leave it with me’ and she sorted it all out – for no extra charge!
Since we have the new website we have had loads of people contacting us wanting us to put their products in our shop, they have complimented us on how lovely it is and want to be a part of it. This never happened with our old site!
We will never change designers, Staci has found lifelong friends in us!

I had some rough ideas as to where I wanted my site to go. The main goal of course was an eye catching, easy-to-navigate site with a shopping cart. As a designer and illustrator myself, Staci worked with both my existing graphics and logo and mixed it in with her illustration and creative inspirations. The final product was a website that relects both the Miss ‘N Nick style as well as Staci’s unique eye and expertise in web design.
